A Busy Week!
Well, I have gotten a lot done in the past couple of days! I cleaned out Joey’s tank AND Irwin’s tank. Pretty good, huh?
On top of that, Joey let me pick him up! He is getting out of his ‘Rebellious Teenage Years” and starting to move into a more mature lizard. (Or so I hope)
I have given up on mealworm breeding, mostly because I realized that the frequency that I would get mealworms would not be sufficient to support my lizards, and I don’t like bugs. 😛

Handling
I am going to start officially handling Joey. (Or at least try to) I think I have gotten to the point that his daily routine is now comfortable for both him and I to the point where he can be picked up. I’ll let you know how that goes.
Any and all comments would be appreciated! I do enjoy hearing what others have to say. 🙂

My Little Lizards
Well, I am happy to say that Irwin has shed 100% of his body. He started this morning, and finished an hour ago. It is good too, it took him all day. Joey is doing well, he is eating his food and drinking his water. Chip is doing well, too.
Overall, my animals are great!

Happy Birthday, Chip!
Happy Birthday Chip! I cannot believe it has been a whole year! I love my little girl.
I took this pic a few minutes ago:
Here is what she looked like when I first got her:
Interesting Tip
I just found a small black beetle in Irwin’s tank. (which scared the bejesus out of me) I researched it and it turns out that they are mealworms that turn into Darkling Beetles and can also still be consumed by your reptile. How ’bout that? But it gets better. You can breed the beetles and they have the worms (larvae) so you never have to pay for worms again.
Pretty cool, huh? If I try it, I’ll let you know how it goes.
Just Got ‘Em!
Well, I just got all of my reptiles back from my friend. I am so happy that they are all happy and healthy. I told you they were in good hands. 🙂
Anyways, I think Joey got bigger since I last saw him. I guess he had a little bit of a growth spurt! All of my other lizards are good, and the move wasn’t stressful for anyone. Well, Irwin got a little freaked out from all of the noise and movement and change of scenery outside of his tank. But he is healthy and eating well, and that is all that matters.
Talk to y’all soon!

Back Home
I am finally back home. I’m sorry I didn’t get to post as much as I planned on, but I was having technological problems.
Puerto Rico was great. I had an opportunity to go to Palamino Island on the last day. We saw many iguanas and even sharks! (While I was in the water)
Anyways, today I will get my reptiles back. Can’t wait! I will update you on how that goes.
